The purpose of the MAP Test is to measure the academic progress of each student. With that being said, the purpose of the initial test, was for teachers to determine students' proficiency levels in English and math, and to adjust the curriculum accordingly. We understand that the test results provided achievement measures in comparison to students in the United States, but please keep in mind that MAP Test is not the only way to measure your child or children's academic achievement. In other words, a student who has scored below grade average will not necessarily fail high school, let alone college. These results have no weight on future academic and career success.

MAP TEST 의 목적은 학생들의 영어와 수학 과목의 학습능력을 파악하고 그에 맞춰 저희의 커리큘럼에 반영하는 것입니다. 시험 결과는 미국 학생들과의 성취도와 비교하여 나타납니다. 하지만 MAP Test만이 학생의 학업적인 능력을 측정하는 단 한가지의 방법이 아닙니다.

다시 말씀드리면 평균점수보다 낮은 점수를 받은 학생들이 대학 뿐 아니라 고등학교에서 반드시 낙제를 하는 것은 아닙니다. 이러한 결과가 앞으로의 학업과 직장의 성공에 큰 영향력을 주지 않습니다.
