American Sign Language
The ASL Club will provide a fun, interactive, and enriching environment to teach students the benefits and fundamentals of sign language. Students will learn to sign the alphabet, learn how to count, and will learn basic phrases, while building vocabulary and learning the structure of the language. Students will also learn how to sign to books and songs. Instruction shall include both spoken words, as well as sign. Handouts showing signs learned in each lesson may be distributed to students at the end of the lesson to facilitate learning.
Basketball
Basketball is a club designed to do some exercise, have quality social interactions with peers and have a good time.
BCC Externship Initiative
This club values the importance of students experiencing the externship (non-paid). BCC Externship Initiative connects students with employers for short-term, part-time, and internship positions. Throughout the year, students will have multiple chances to enhance their perspectives about work experience.
Board/Trivia Games
The Board Game and Trivia Club is all about playing organized board games or computer quiz-like trivia games with a group or on a team. Students often compete against others to meet some game goal involving certain strategies. They may also have to answer interesting questions about common knowledge. Many of the board games and trivia game shows are played worldwide (Ex. Clue, Risk, Jeopardy, Who Wants to be a Millionaire? Wheel of Fortune)
Broadcasting Club
The BCC Broadcasting Club is a student-centered media club which covers BCC news, sports and events.
The club uses relevant social media platforms to engage with the student body. The club also provides students the opportunity to discover, learn and improve broadcasting and production skills.
Business Club
This club is for students interested in learning how businesses operate. The purpose of this club is to encourage the development of projects which contribute to the improvement of business and community, to develop character and prepare for useful citizenship, and to encourage and practice efficient money management. It provides an opportunity for students to learn about the basics of the economy, impacts on real-life situations (including previous economic events), the interaction between individuals and companies, and the interest in experiencing the basic principles of stocks directly in the virtual stock competition.
Chess
The goal of the chess club is for students to play and enjoy chess. They will also have opportunities to improve their skills in the game and learn more advanced strategies. This club is open to everyone, from beginners to more experienced players.
Drama
Drama club is designed for students interested in learning more about the aspects of theater. This includes learning stage terminology, working on acting skills, set building, and costumes/makeup design.The Drama Club is dedicated to bringing the joy and power of Drama to students by providing high quality dramatic programming at the beginner and intermediate levels. It pledges to offer participants the chance to experience the excitement and rewards of theatre arts while developing poise, social skills, confidence, and the ability to work with others.
E-Sports
Esports officially stands for electronic sports, not to be confused with video games. Esports takes video gaming to another level with organized competitive gameplay between two teams, governed by its own strict set of rules and guidelines. The difference is comparable to a pick-up basketball game at a park versus a varsity high school basketball game. Esports requires teamwork, communication, critical and strategic thinking, creativity, sportsmanship, and leadership — much like traditional sports. However, we also try to introduce the gaming world to the younger generation in a positive light.
HSK
HSK is the standardized test of Standard Chinese language proficiency of China for non-native speakers such as foreign students and overseas Chinese and it basically tests how good you are at Chinese at six levels from one (the easiest) through six (the most difficult).
LINK
LiNK is a club founded by Korean-American students who are interested in the liberty of North Korean citizens. Currently, North Korean citizens are well known to be undergoing harsh treatment by their government and are forced to endure hard labor. LiNK’s main goal and purpose is to raise awareness about the rights that North Koreans should be given as humans and ultimately raise funds in order to help North Korean defectors settle into new environments. There are currently 293 LiNK clubs around the globe and BC Collegiate LiNK is proud to be among them. Join us!
Fashion
“FIDM fashion club is a high school/college club program sponsored by the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising”. Common activities include designing and drawing clothes, creating fashion mood boards for OOTDs, makeup analysis and creation, conduct discussions, making fashion DIYs and holding fashion workshops with FIDM representatives. Moreover, there are two general categories of activities here: planning activities, focusing on the business side of the club and creative activities where you can make something or learn a new skill. New ideas on future activities to pursue and directions to take are always welcomed!
Gardening Club focuses on fostering an appreciation for nature and growth in multiple forms. Students walk through nature taking the time to acknowledge the life around them. Students also spend time learning how to grow plants from seeds. Students gain valuable experience understanding the need for upkeep and responsibility. All the while, students further enrich their knowledge of botany with practical hands-on work with plants.

Homework
Homework club is a great time for students to work on their homework, share their understanding, and help each other academically. You can also work on group projects or other projects. However, please, note that it’s not a free time; you have to work!
Key Club
Key Club is a student led organization whose goal is to encourage leadership through serving others. Key Club is part of a family of service leadership programs focused on volunteering and charity. Many local Key Clubs are connected and sponsored by the Kiwanis club of Korea.
Knitting
Students can come and work on a knitting project. They can also come and learn how to knit. This is for knitters of all abilities and no experience is necessary. Have fun with friends while doing a relaxing activity together.
leatherwork
Leather crafting is the practice of making leather into craft objects or works of art. We will learn the basics of leather work including saddle stitching, cutting, and edge finishing through a beginner's kit. After acquiring the basic skills, we ultimately aim to make our own leather goods by designing our own pattern from scratch.
Model UN
Model United Nations (M.U.N.) is an academic simulation of the United Nations. Students will take on the roles of delegates of various countries and seek to solve real-world problems using their allocated country's policies and perspectives. For example, a student may be allocated to the United Kingdom and will be required to solve global issues such as climate change using the policies of the country.
Photography
Pictures allow people to hold on to memories, see the world from various perspectives, and tell a story. In a photography club, students will be able to express themselves freely by sharing and communicating through pictures they have taken. They will also have an opportunity to build connections with their peers by hearing each other's stories.
PHO
Currently in BCC, NHS has been mainly involved in environmental services and activities so far. I thought it would be great if BCC has a club that can help students to have their school life as clean as possible by providing materials to them such as free tissues (example). This club will benefit students because of our environmental provision and help other clubs when they need us with their environmental issues.

Student Council
The purpose of the student council is to give students an opportunity to develop leadership by organizing and carrying out school activities and service projects. In addition to planning events that contribute to school spirit and community welfare, the student council is the voice of the student body.
Yearbook
Yearbook Club is a way for any and all students interested in being a part of the yearbook team, to have a hand in the books creation. Students have the opportunity to help develop the concept, aesthetic and theme of the annual yearbook and work in tandem with those in the Yearbook class, to create, manage and procure much of it's content, such as photos, articles, interviews and graphic elements, to name a few.
